LEWES PLANNING GROUP: DECIDING LEWES2025 | Documentary (10mins)
I was commissioned by the Lewes Planning Group to create a film capturing the views, concerns and aspirations of voices that are often underrepresented in local decision-making. The film formed part of a wider community engagement programme aimed at shaping the future development of Lewes and ensuring that a broad range of perspectives were included in the town's long-term planning.
Set against the backdrop of the South Downs National Park Authority's Local Plan review, the project supported the Lewes Planning Group's work to develop a town-wide masterplan for the decade ahead. The film was produced in conjunction with a major public workshop at Lewes Town Hall, one of the largest civic planning events the town has seen in decades, bringing together more than 60 community representatives, local organisations and policymakers to help shape a shared vision for Lewes's future.
