CYCLE LEWES: CAMPAIGN FOR MALLING FIELD CYCLE PATH

2025 | Film (1m 30s)

I’m particularly proud of this short film for Cycle Lewes. Shot on an iPhone in around an hour, it was created to support a community campaign and was reportedly a key factor in helping secure an initial £5,000 grant, which then helped unlock additional funding for a much larger local infrastructure project.

The funding is enabling the creation of a new all-weather shared-use path across Malling Recreation Ground, improving connections between the riverside path, Wiley’s Bridge, Malling and Ringmer for both cyclists and walkers. Developed through a collaboration between Cycle Lewes, local councillors and community partners, the project demonstrates how clear, engaging storytelling can help turn a local idea into a funded public improvement.
